Day: 1 Fez
Arrival in Fez. The elite and the center of religious and cultural life in Morocco. Reception at the airport and transfer to the Riad.
Day 2: Fez: (city tour with local guide)
Visit the fascinating Medina. El Quaraouyine, the primitive mosque which was founded in the middle of the 9th Century. Moulay Idriss tomb is the founder of Fez. The Nejjarine complex housing the Nejjarine museum of wood arts and crafts. The Seffarin medersa which was specialized in the teaching of grammar and theology. Finally the medersa AlBou Anania. In the afternoon take a tour of the souks of Fez. The night will be at the Riad.
8 days tour from Fes to Marrakech and Casablanca
3rd day: Fez – Meknes -Volubilis – Rabat
Departure from Fez to the Ismaili capital Meknes, visit the Tombs Moulay Ismail, one of the few sanctuaries in Morocco, the granaries the stables of Moulay Ismail, place El Hdim, Bab Mansour, the most famous door in all of South Africa north, and the Bou Inania madrassah. Then continue towards Volubilis, a set of Roman ruins near Moulay Driss Zarhoun, the latter is the first man who introduced Islam to Morocco. Then continue the stage of this circuit to arrive in Rabat, the night will be in a 5 * hotel.
4th day: Rabat – Casablanca
Visit Rabat (the old Medina, the Oudaiyas, Hassan Tower, Bab Chellah …). then make the departure towards the economic capital of the country Casablanca: visit of the old medina, the mosque Hassan II, Habouss … The night will be in a 5 * hotel
5th day Casablanca – Eljadida – Essaouira
Departure from Casablanca to Essaouira passing through Ejadida, the medieval city occupied by the Portuguese in 1506, proclaimed World Heritage by Unesco in 2004. The night will be in a Riad in Mogador.
Cultural tour from Fez in 8 days
6th day: Essaouira – Marrakech
Visit Essaouira, it’s port and its Kasbahs (the city was built in the 18th century in front of Mogador Island, known by its port and the particular climate, it is a predilection of surfers. The annual Gnawa music festival and the cultural and artistic activities of the city leave the city a place preferred by tourists from all countries of the world). In the afternoon, leave for the red city Marrakech (the evening at Jamaa Lafna) and the night will be in a Riad.
7th day: Marrakech: visit to the red city
After breakfast, take a tour of the red city Marrakech starting with the Menara, the minaret of Koutoubia (the twin tower of La Giralda in Seville in Spain), the tombs of Saadians which consist of splendid mausoleums built in the 16th century, the majorel gardens. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon take a walk in the colorful souks of the city, conclude the day with a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa ELfna square known for its spectacle. Dinner will be instead and the night will be at the Riad.
